Tortoise Terrace

Glamping right up under the cliffs, sitting under the stars in the wilderness. 

Tortoise Terrace is our most private, close to nature space. This is the spot to choose if you really want the sense of being in the wild, with nature all around you.

It is a simple space, but has everything you might need. The bedrooms are in a covered, luxury safari tent. The kitchen and bathroom are in a small wooden cabin alongside. The kitchen is gas powered with electric fridge, water is from a gas geyser, and lights are solar powered. There is a plug to charge devices.

The space has a shaded deck with outdoor dining and living area. and a large stone braai for those late night cookouts. A circular seating area right in the bush has a fire pit for nights beneath the stars.

Towels, linen and gas are supplied. The unit has one queen size bed in the main room of the tent, and then a bunk bed in a separate room.

COSTS FOR 2022, self-catering - rate is for the whole space, not per person:

• Nightly rate (minimum three nights): R900
• Weekly rate: R4500
• Monthly rate: R9500
