It brings us great joy when families arrive for a return visit, and children scramble out of the car to go and clamour over the rocks or in the secret places between the trees. This is a space where they can switch off from all modern distractions, and return to their wild selves, safely and without security concerns.

Adults, too, enjoy the serenity, the simplicity, the stars and the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding wild.

Three days, we find, is the absolute minimum time for a total reset, but the longer you stay, the better, and we support that.
