Tucked between monumental sandstone formations in the heart of Rocklands, The Storytellers offers just two eco-conscious glamping spaces: Dassie Den and Tortoise Terrace.
Both are designed to dissolve the boundary between shelter and landscape.
There is no Wi-Fi at the units — intentionally so. Guests are invited to trade notifications for birdsong, blue light for starlight. (For those who need it, access points are available elsewhere on the property.)
Minimum stays ensure that visitors don’t merely pass through, but settle in. Two nights is the least required — three during peak season — allowing time for the nervous system to slow to the rhythm of the mountains.
Costs for 2026
Self-catering – rate is per unit.

Both units are situated within a spectacular rocky bowl surrounded by cliffs. Safari tents, fully furnished and roofed, with private bathroom and kitchen.

Cancellation policy
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
