Specialised Kinesiology or “muscle monitoring” is the foundational technique for various modalities, using the body’s proprioreceptive response to identify imbalances that may be (amongst other things) structural, electrical, nutritional or emotional in nature. The facilitator then works with the client to realign these imbalances, using a variety of techniques ranging from physical manipulation, massage, work with the fascia to acupressure and meridian work, reflex points, electromagnetic balance, techniques from neurolinguistic programming, reflexology, nutritional interventions and more.

Tracy du Plessis is qualified in a number of biofeedback modalities, including Touch for Health, Specialised Kinesiology (Neurotraining), Neuro-organisational Technique and the Stress Indicator Points System. She incorporates all these into her work, depending on the needs of the client, as well massage where needed. This type of therapy is gentle and non-invasive, yet effective for a broad variety of issues, ranging from chronic pain, severe illness, serious injuries and alignment issues, allergies, learning disorders and poor immune response all the way to emotional trauma, addiction or simply personal goal setting. Sessions are 60 minutes and are offered in Clanwilliam town or at The Storytellers.
